If advertising with billboards at only $10 per day sounds great for your business, you’re in the right spot! With Blip, there are no required long-term contracts for any ad campaign, so it’s easy to get great billboard exposure on a smaller budget. Read on to learn one way to use Blip’s tools for an effective $10-per-day billboard campaign.
3 Steps for $10/Day Billboard Campaign
Think of your $10 per day billboard advertising campaign as a sniper focus rather than a shotgun approach. You’ll be concentrating on affecting a “single target” group rather than the entire army of potential customers. Within Blip’s system, hyper-focus your ads on three things: number of billboards, time of day, and ad repetition.
1. Fewer Signs
Run your ads on one specific billboard. If you use more than one billboard, choose ones that are geographically as close as possible to get the most bang for your buck. Grouped billboards increase the chances that both regular commuters will see your ad multiple times during commutes, which keeps your business fresh in their minds.
Click on each dot on the map within the Blip product to get the exact location and see an image of the billboard. You can also see the size of the billboard so you can create your ad in the correct dimensions.
2. Time of Day Billboard Advertising
With Blip, you can choose what time of day you want your ads to run. In some ad campaigns, it makes sense to schedule ads all day, but that doesn’t always make sense with every budget. With smaller budgets, target possible blips in smaller time slots only. For example, you may wish to restrict your possible Blips between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. every day. This will help you focus on the lunch crowd. This, coupled with ad repetition, means it’s more likely that the same people will see your ads more than once and take action.
Scheduling options are available once you click the “Advanced Options” toggle on your budget page and enter a Max per Blip rate. Click the gear icon to start setting schedules. Watch this video to learn more.
3. Ad Repetition
When you hyper focus your time slots, ensuring your ad gets several blips within those timeframes becomes more important. Make sure your Max per Blip is high enough so that your ad has a better chance to be shown several times within your chosen time slot. If you set your overall budget at $10 per day, the system will automatically keep you within budget.
Since changing times and Max per Blips (how much you’re willing to spend per ad) on the site is so easy, take a few weeks to experiment and tweak time slots and price points to see what work best for your business. You may even find that a few pennies per ad will get you the exposure your business needs! Watch this video to learn more about setting ad bids within your daily budget.
